The 1895-O carries the standard Reverse of 1879 hub configuration with no documented sub-varieties anchoring the year's specialist collecting. The 1895 Philadelphia issue was proof-only, catalogued separately as the famous King of Morgans, making the 1895-O the year's primary regular-issue Key alongside the 1895-S.

Strike quality on the 1895-O follows the typical New Orleans pattern combined with the low-mintage condition-rarity profile.
