The 1811/0 overdate large cent shows a 1 punched over a 0 in the final digit of the date. The Mint reused an 1810 die by updating the date, and the remnant of the underlying 0 is visible beneath the 1. The overdate is identifiable on coins in Good or better condition, though sharper examples in Fine and above show the doubled digit most clearly.
