About this coinHistory

Denver struck 372,000,000 Jefferson nickels with the Peace Medal reverse in 2004. The coin is common in all grades and readily available in Mint State.

Like the 2004-P, the 2004-D Peace Medal represents the first of the Westward Journey Nickel Series designs. Denver production was substantial and the coin is readily available for date set collectors and specialists building Westward Journey sub-series collections.
