Collectors building complete Westward Journey Jefferson nickel sets acquire the 2005-D Bison as a required entry alongside the 2005-P and 2005-S versions. The Denver production features the same Jamie Franki bison reverse and Joe Fitzgerald Jefferson obverse as the Philadelphia issue.
