About this coinHistory
Denver struck 226,800,000 Wisconsin quarters in 2004, closely matching Philadelphia's 226,400,000. The standard reverse shows a cow, a wheel of cheese, and an ear of corn, representing Wisconsin's leading role in dairy and agriculture. Alfred Maletsky sculpted the design, carrying the motto "Forward." The Denver production also created the famous Extra Leaf varieties, cataloged separately.
